Quarter Note is hosting its 3rd Annual Event to benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind. Last year we raised over $5,000. This year our goal is $8,000.

About Guide Dogs for the Blind?

Guide Dogs for the Blind provides Guide Dogs, and training in their use to visually impaired people throughout the U.S. and Canada. The dogs, school and services are provided free of charge. Students attending the school are provided transportation, room and board, classes and services free of charge. Established in 1942, Guide Dogs for the Blind have provided more than 7,500 dogs to people with vision loss. Guide Dogs for the blind is dedicated to quality student training services and extensive follow-up support for graduates. All the programs are made possible through the teamwork of staff, volunteers and generous donors.

What Can You Do to Help?

1.   Donate a new product or service that will be auctioned at the Charity Auction.  Donations can be dropped off at Quarter Note anytime 10:30 am - 2:00 am , 7 days a week. A receipt with the Tax ID for Guide Dogs for the Blind will be provided. Please note the following when dropping off item: Description of Item, Name/Address of Donor, and Suggested Value of Item.

2.   Attend the Car Show · BBQ · Live Music · Charity Auction and bid high and often.

What:               Charity Auction,  BBQ, Music Performed by several Bay Area Bands, Information and Demonstration Booths. All proceeds to Benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc.

When:              Saturday September 14th, 2002, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Where:             Quarter Note Bar & Grill, 1214 Apollo Way, Sunnyvale CA (on Lawrence Expressway 1 block north of Central Expressway.
