Having a car show this year?? Send in your listing NOW!

The San Luis Roadster Club is about 40 plus years old and hails from San Luis Obispo Ca. As you can probably tell from our name we are a roadster only club (the last Ford roadster produced was 1936, they then became cabriolets and convertibles). We presently have about 12 members plus their wives/girlfriends. We put a show on in May of each year that is well attended by all the California roadster clubs, but is open to all pre 1948 body styles; attendance is limited to 300 cars.  I will send dates when finalized but usually around mothers day in May. The show has also been going on for about 35 years missing a year every now and then.

We left SLO on Friday morning and had lunch and Ice Cream in Hanford (Some of our members live there but also have a home on the coast). From there we proceeded to Bass Lake and stayed at the Pines Lodge chalets.  We were enjoying drinks and snacks when you met us.  Dinner later that evening at Deucys.

Saturday morning we went to Yosemite Big Trees and then a catered lunch at the Tenaya Lodge where we had special parking we shared with the Mercedes 190 club, also lunching there. We then drove around Bass Lake to a Flat Bottom Boat show at Millers Landing where we watched some well restored V-drives perform.

Saturday afternoon late we had more snacks and drinks before another meal at Deucys.  Sunday morning some of us left for the coast at sun up to beat the heat.

Besides the usual car shows we try to plan an outing such as this for a club event.
