Pomona, CA: Twilight Cruise Night; The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum hosts their ever-growing Twilight Cruise Night on the first Wednesday of every month. Known throughout Southern California as "Hot Rod Heaven," Twilight Cruise Night draws 400-1,000 spectators and approximately 500 pre-1970 hot rods, custom, classic, and muscle cars competing for a victory lap during the Auto Club NHRA Finals in November. There is no cost to enter this show and museum admission is free on Twilight Cruise Nights. The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum is located at 1101 West McKinley Avenue in Pomona. Indian Wells, CA: Members and friends of the Desert Motorcycle Riders meet at 9:00 a.m. every Wednesday morning at Vicky's of Santa Fe. Riders depart at 10:00 a.m. for a group ride followed by a club lunch meeting at a different location each week. The weekly rides are approximately 200 miles round-trip. Escondido, CA: Cruisin' Grand; Just in case you didn't already know this, the city of Escondido gives us another reason to love summer in Southern California.
